My cat is pretty fat but the Pod is great for her, she likes it
MY CAT LIVES IN THIS BED! She feels so safe there that even when I had a stranger catsit her, she stayed in the bed. This is amazing because she normally runs under the bed if she hears a car door close outside, much less a stranger in the same room with her. She starts off kneading the sides. But she can also lean against the sides and I feel like it would mimic leaning against another kitty or a person, which is a huge plus. She feels safe in there and also gets pretty warm from the pile covering.
